Now that the warm weather is upon us, we will be eating outdoors more often. You will have your invited quests and your not so invited quests. Like the annoying fly. But did you know you can get rid of flies indoors and outdoors as well, with cloves.
If you are outdoors or indoors, by placing some cloves into a apple of any kind will keep flies at bay. Place the apple in the middle of your table area and you will be fly free.
Taking a small bowl and placing some cloves into it will also keep those nasty flies away. If you take some clove oil, and add it to your cleaning water or cleaning spray, not only will it keep flies away it will make your house smell wonderful.
Taking clove stems with the cloves attached and hanging them around the home will also keep your uninvited quests away.
If you have flies hanging around your barn or dog house, place some clove powder in a stocking and hang it near by, and your fly problem will soon be over.
