Pancakes, you can have them for breakfast, or dinner. And if your on a budget they are a great choice for a meal. But they don't have to be the traditional round shape you can have fun with them.
Put your mix into a squirt bottle, and when you squeeze it out, why not write a persons name. You can even make faces, cartoon faces are always cute for young children.
How about making pancakes a little thicker and use them for sandwich's. Between two of them add some cinnamon apples and cream cheese. These taste fantastic.
Using cookie cutters to cut shapes out, are fun for kids also. Animal shapes work great for getting a fussy eater to eat their breakfast.
Pancake roll ups are a great breakfast or dinner idea. You can roll link sausage inside a pancake and roll away.
Adding fruits are good, as well as fruit syrup.
