Cleaning from the Cubbard

Many times you come home from the store and your glassware, or dinnerware have sticky little labels on them. Well I find a easy way to get them off is warm some vinegar up in a bowl, soak a sponge in the vinegar. Then soak that sticky label until it's soaked good, and it should come right off.

Of course we all no vinegar and water is great for windows, using newspaper instead paper bowl.

Also some salt and water mixed until you made a paste is a great cleanser for those stubborn stains.

All purpose cleaner can be expensive sometimes. Try putting 3 tbs of white vinegar, and 1tsp of borax into a 16oz spray bottle, then 2 cups warm water. Shake it well. You can add any scent you wish by adding a drop of scented oil. You can use this in the bathroom as well as the kitchen. Where ever you would normally use your all purpose cleaner.

A great way to make tub and tile cleaner is to sprinkle 2 tbs of baking soda on a damp sponge, rubbing over the tub to remove dirt and scum. Rinse as your normally would. For tougher dirt, spray white vinegar over the tub to help, following with the baking soda.

Lemon juice will also help with soap scum in the tub.

A cup of olive oil mixed with 1/2 cup lemon juice makes a great inexpensive furniture polish.

Most carpet stains can be cleaned with
1 cup Vinegar
1 cup water
1/2 cup borax

Try some of these tips and let me know how you did.
