Homemade Bath Salts anyone can Make

Bath salts and oils help you to relax and can help your aching muscles. And who doesn't like soaking in the tub. You can make your own salts that could have therapeutic effects. Making the salts are as easy as the oils. You can even customize them to your liking. Using different fragrances and essential oils. You will love destressing in a long relaxing bath with salts you made yourself.

With a few simple ingredients and a few simple steps it is easy to get started. First mix one cup sea salt and one cup baking soda together in a bowl and set it to the side. Then mix one teaspoon of vitamin E oil together with five ounces of grape seed oil, and pour them into a canning jar. Then slowly add the salt and baking powder mixture into the oil mixture. The next step is to put it into the jar with a tight fitting lid, and mix well. After mixing well you can add about twenty five drops of a essential oil of your desire, mixing well again.

Store your mixture in a dark, cool place until you are ready to use. At that time add one half to one quarter of bath salts to your bath.
