Love Roses than You'll Love this Tip

After all this snow I am looking forward to Spring, when the flowers come out, and all the spring sounds and smells. One of the things I do every year is make colored roses, and put them in my favorite vase, for a table top center piece.

This is easily done with food coloring and water. With this technique you can create almost any color rose you like and you don't need any expensive equipment. You can create beautiful bouquets for any occasion. Create your own colors for different occasions.

To get started, you will need white roses, and your favorite vase, and fill it up half way full of water. It is important to make sure the vase is large enough to hold the amount of roses you are placing in it. Making a large batch of rose's is easier.

After filling your vase with the water you then add several drops of food coloring of your color choice to the water. Adding more food coloring makes darker colors, and a little food coloring makes pale colors.

After this take a sharp knife, and then cut a small notch in the bottom of each white rose stem. This makes the rose absorb the color quickly. You can then place the rose in the vase of colored water. They must be left there for 24 hours for the best results.

After 24 hours, you can remove your rose's and dab the stems with paper towels to absorb any excess water left.

You can make a tied dye look repeating the process. Also you can dye any other type of flower as long as you can get it in white.
