Stop Pitbull Fighting ( Contains Mature Reading Material )

Watching Pitt Boss on TV today, Shorty went to a house where Pit bull fighting was going on. Hearing the dogs, crying and screaming was heart stopping. How in the world people can subject dogs to this, I will never understand. How can anyone even say this is a sport, where did that catch phrase ever come from. It's illegal, and the penalties should be more stricter maybe then it will stop. And pit bulls are not the only victims. The poor dogs, that they use for bait are victims also. I have seen shows where they used little Chihuahuas. Dogs are not naturally aggressive, they are what their owners make them. When you see a large number of pit bulls chained or caged, this may be a sign they are fighting dogs. These poor dogs are easily identified by it's signs of war. Scratches, bites, missing body parts. When dog fighting rings are closed down, you will usually find dogs that we're left, dogs that are dead. These dog's don't know whats going on. All they want is love. Can you image being a female pit bull having your teeth pulled out so you can be bred over and over again. Sounds like a woman being ganged rape doesn't it. Another sign is a pit in a yard with cages all around. These pit's will often hold the signs of a fight past, blood, fur, body parts. Fights are not just in pits, they are held any where possible. Garages, yards, house's, where ever. These dog's we're not born to fight, they are made to fight. They have large chains around their neck, to make a big chest, made to walk on treadmills, and made to just plan fight. And what happens when one of these dogs get hurt, do the owners take them to the vet, no! If they treat the dog's themselves, the dog is lucky or is it. Does the owner really have the proper vet experience, probably not. The other option turn it into a bait dog. Or the last resort, kill it. Is it fair to the breed, that some states don't even allow you to own the bred. Your homeowners insurance won't cover you if you own the bred. The most popular for dog fighting for some reason or other is the red nose pit, when in reality out of all the pit bull's is the most docile. All states should have the laws against dog fighting, like Illinois has. They have the strictest laws in the US for dog fighting. Doing so in any form in the state is considered a felony. If you are convicted of dogfights you are not allowed to have any animal of any kind until the court deems. Recently Mike Vick was crying about the fact that his children should be able to have a dog, that it was not fair for them to be punished for what he did. Well maybe he should have thought of that first. It wasn't fair what he did to his dog's, but he didn't give a damn about that at the time. It discuss me that because he makes alot of money he did not get punished like a person like me or you would. These dog's can not always be rehabilitated, and therefor have to be put to sleep. It's bad enough the torture they went through not at their will, but to end up being put to sleep for what some unhuman person trained them to do. The dog fighters are not only doing illegal dog fighting but are gambling and, more than likely have drug and weapons on them as well. Instead of paying a dog fighting fee of $20,000 to $30,000 put on a dog's head, take the money and improve them selves and get out of the situation they are in. Animals can't take themselves to the vet, they can't go to the store for food, and they can't love themselves. That's are job as dog owners, or any animal owner. If you can't afford it, don't buy them. Get a real job, don't fight dogs, don't run puppy mills. That's finding the easy way out. GET A JOB.
