Inferno Candy Company Review extremely hot edibles

Today I received three products to review from Inferno Candy Company. This company is from Texas, and is owned by a husband and wife team. What they make are extremely hot edibles, like cookies, nuts, cherry bombs, sauce's and more! This business all started from growing hot peppers. What started out in the home as a canning process, bloomed into a full time business.

The company can be found on Facebook, Etsy, and their website Infernocandycompany.com

So lets get it going, with the taste test, on the products I received today.

First up the Cherry Bombs. The cherry bombs are a chocolate covered maraschino cherries, that are brined for three months in a pepper brine. The first thing you will notice is that each cherry bomb is in a sealed, resealable bag. Inside, each cherry bomb is in its own sealed bag. After opening, it was time for the true taste test. The peppers in the cherry bomb was habanero, ghost pepper, trinidad scorpion, and carolina reaper.

So, let me tell you, when the company says its hot, its hot. I don't think children would like it, so I would not try and give them one. Although the heat was intense, the flavor was out of this world. After chewing it took a minute or two, but then like a bomb, it hits your palette. You get the heat, but also the sweetness of the cherry.

Next up the Inferno chocolate chip cookies. This was also in a resealable bag, with each cookie in its own sealed bag. As soon as you open the cookie packet, you can smell the chocolate chips. The smell is like any other chocolate chip cookie, however the taste is not the same. The cookie was hot, but sweet at the same time. The cookie itself was just the right texture, not to hard and not to soft. And again it takes a minute or two for the heat to kick in. And what's great when you order these cookies from the company they come in three flavors. The peppers in these are scorpian, carolina reaper.

The last taste test was for the Nuclear Nuts, Again they came in a resealable bag, and was filled inside with caramelized nuts. The nuts we're a combo of peanuts, sugar, almonds, pecans, and cashews. And of course the hot peppers, which we're habanero and ghost pepper. I must warn you, these nuts we're off the scale hot. And its important to note if you have a peanut allergy be alert. Even though they are extremely hot, they are very tasty.

Each of the products come in a very colorful 6oz. bag. And if you have someone who loves edible hot eats, they make a great gift.
