NorthStarCaramel Company Product Review

I would like to introduce you to a product I received tonight to review. They are salted soft caramels from the Etsy shop NorthStarCaramel company. Andy, the owner of NorthStarCaramel company, hand makes these tiny treasures. The caramel's came in a clear plastic bag with a pretty gold tie on top. What's great about the caramel Andy makes, is that it's made from nothing but real ingredients. Andy care's about what goes in each flavor. You can see this in the ingredients he uses for his caramel's. There is no added coloring, or any preservatives what so ever. 

Now it's time to taste these tiny treasures! The caramel, is nice and soft, with a creamy texture. The salt does not over bear the caramel, you get a hint of it on your palette. Surprisingly, the caramel, is not hard to chew at all, and the best part, does not stick to your teeth.

The caramel's do contain dairy, and the evaporated milk Andy uses has a touch of soy. The bag I received had approximately 20 to 25 caramel's inside. I must warn you, have a few, and have someone take the bag away, or you will not stop eating them. 

Now I know Easter is coming, but I can't help but think caramel apples. Oh yea, melt these and make caramel apples, in the fall and you will have a real treat. But don't stop there, if you have a recipe that calls for this type of tiny treasure, you will have a great hit on your hands. The caramel's would also be a great hit, to put in a treat bag for any occasion, such as a baby shower, bridal shower, the thoughts are endless.

The caramels, are fresh, and buttery, and just melt in your mouth.
