Winding Road Mushrooms Review

The day never ends with doing reviews. And this one came just in time for dinner. The company Winding Road Mushrooms, sent me a package of their oyster mushrooms, and a bottle of their tincture of lions mane mushrooms. The company is family owned and operated out of Clarksville, Michigan. There is where they grow quality gourmet mushrooms of all varieties. Their mushrooms are very flavorful, due to the fact they are all natural, with out any chemicals sprayed on them. This will assure you, you are getting a true organic product. 

The Oyster Mushroom has a mild flavor, and the texture is very tender, similar to the Shiitake. They have a sweet and woodsy taste as well, and they are very versatile. They are great mushrooms to add to any recipe. They come from the company fresh, or you can ask for them dried. 

For my first dish of tasting them, I decided to make them in some farm fresh scrambled eggs. The flavor was so intense, but not over bearing. They we're very pleasing on the palette, and complimented the eggs very well. The dish was great, and there we're no leftovers. 

Also I fried some in a little olive oil and butter, just to nibble on. With a sprinkle of salt and pepper, they we're a delicate and so delicious. They are great to add to any dish, or just cook and eat them on their own.

Last was the lion maine mushroom Tincture, it is just on to the Tinctures the company makes. You place a couple of drops in water, tea or a smoothie of your choice, daily for a unending health benefit. The Lions Maine Mushroom Tincture is packed with loads of protein and fiber, and many vitamins. The Tincture has been known to lower cholesterol, and is a great anti oxidant, anti cancer and also a anti inflammatory. So it's a great idea to give it a try.
