Greener living Soap nuts Review

I got the most interesting product today to review. The product is called Greener Living Soap Nuts. The company started in 2007 offering what is called soap nuts, along with other products that help to maintain a chem free household.

Countries in South Asia have a tree named sapindus mukoorosi, that grows small fruits, surrounded by a outer shell. The tree produces saponins ( a soap like product ). After the nuts process, a substance is made for wash water that will free dirt, grime and oil from clothing. The product states you can make laundry detergent, all purpose cleaner, window cleaner and dish liquid all chem free. They are chem free, have no toxins and no foaming action.

The benefits from using this product is that it is great for skin allergies, eczema, and people sensitives to commercial detergents.

I received a one pound bag of the product. And with it I made window cleaner, in a spray bottle with two cups water to 1tbsp vinegar and 1tbsp soap from the nut liquid.

It was fun making the soap, all the instructions are on the back of the cute brown draw string bag.

Cleaning the glass with paper towels, made a clear non streaking finish. This little bag makes alot of soap for you different cleaning projects.

As a laundry soap it can be used in front or top load washers, and produce very few suds. It will do150 to 200 loads. That's more than any commercial laundry soap.

They are different to see, they almost look like nuts to eat, but don't.
