Johnnys 512 Mix Review

Johnny's Selected Seeds, sent me a 20QT bag of 512 mix to try and review. Since I start my garden indoors the mix will come in handy. The mix is a medium compost based mixture, great for soil blocks, trays or even small containers. The blend is made up of mature compost and blond sphagnum, fish meal and perlite. It is a no chemical fertilizer or no wetting agent formula. The mix is a great way for starting your seeds, or to use when transplanting, or even growing in a container. The nutrients carry enough ample ingredients to carry your plants from seed to transplant.

What is so great is, the mix does not require you to water frequently.

It comes in three different sizes, 20QT, 60QT, and 2yard.

The bag of mixture comes with some great and useful instructions. Not only on how to use the mix, but fertilization's tips.

The company was started by Rob Johnson while growing vegetables for a market, at a small farm in New Hampshire in 1973. The company has come a long way since then.

They have a large assortment of products on their website. From veggies, to soil mixtures, they have it all. And the website is very easy to use, and very informative.
