Create nice smelling closet's

Sometime in everyone's home, you will get smells in the closet's that then transfer to your clothing. Adding a pleasant scent on your clothes is a great way to start the day in a good mood.

The first thing you will want to do is clean out that closet. If you have more air space you will have more circulation for your scents.

Dryer sheets work great for creating a nice fresh smell in your closet. Place them in some clothing pockets or even take a clothes hanger and poke them through the top. Dryer sheets can also keep some insects away.

Put your old pantyhose to work by cutting them in half, filling up the feet section with some potpourri, then tie a know at the top. You can also again use a hanger to hang the stocking sachet.

Don't have potpourri, then bits of a scented candle will work just fine. Save those candles when they are burnt to the bottom and use them to create a nice closet scent.

Have some essential oil, well dip it into your cotton balls, place on a shelf and you have another way to create a nice smell in your closet.

I love making little muslin sachets filled with lavender for my closets. And those small wax tarts do the trick too.
Reading this post reminded me of my childhood when my grandma used to clean and air the closets and then leave bars of strong scented soap in between clothes. I still remember the scent :)
