Husbands Rib Secret

My husband is letting me share his BBQ ribs recipe secret. So let's get started before he changes his mind.

The first step in the best ribs I have ever tasted is he soaks some hickory wood chips for one hour. After that the chips go under the grill grate. This turns your grill into a smoker for the best ribs. Next it is time to turn on the grill and get it really hot. Keeping your lid closed to help get it really toasty inside. Rub your ribs with some BBQ seasoning. His rub recipe he won't give up at this time, so use your favorite. Just make sure to rub the seasoning mix into your ribs. Then place them on the bottom burner of the hot grill. Sear them quickly, for a char taste. Continue cooking with the lid closed for five minutes on each side. When the meaty side up is facing you, baste with your BBQ sauce. Sorry lady's and gentlemen he's not giving up that recipe yet either. Then inside heat your oven to 275 degrees. Take the ribs and place in a large baking dish or cookie sheet. Cover tightly with foil, and cook on this temp for four hours. Every 45 minutes pull out and baste with your BBQ sauce. They will be juicy and so tender. You and your guests will be amazed.
