Calendula Salve Product Review

Today I received a product from Spirit Horse Herbals. The product is Calendula Salve. A soothing topical medicinal herbal oil. I decided to try it on my hands since they we're chapped today, from cleaning with bleach and not wearing gloves.

It felt very smoothing on my hands, with a very pleasant scent. Calendula oil is very successful for healing scars, acne, eczema, burns and cuts. Men can also use this product after shaving. The suave is in a small tin screw top container. Very easy to open.

The salve is also safe for your pets and children since it is all natural.

Spirit Horse Herbals was created by Kristie Nackord. She grows her own organic herbs, and flowers that go into these wonderful products. I must tell you after using this salve, my hands felt so smooth, and did not hurt any longer from being chapped. I also put it on my nine year old's elbows, and there we're no side affects, or rashes.

This natural salve is made with calendula flower extract, olive, sweet almond and apricot kernel oil, and LOVE.

If you don't know what a calendula flower is, it is also know as a pot marigold. It is also our skins best friend. Applying it to our skin it has many healing aspects. It will soften, soothe and rejuvenate all skin types. If you have sensitive, or skin that has been traumatized, or over worked, this suave is for you. You can also use the salve if you have eczema, or a cut, even a burn. And I know it works on chaffed skin like my hands we're. The calendula salve also has incredible anti bacterial and wound healing capabilities. Calendula can also be used steeped in a tea, or sprinkled on your salad.
