How about some fresh flowers for the centerpiece. Maybe some you have cut from the garden, or some you have ordered. Either way this is a very popular idea. And you can also add some white or pastel colored candles to your centerpiece. Taper candles look great for this idea.
Another great idea instead of flowers, is using a decorated bowl and filling it with fruit. Arrange the fruit with some fresh greenery. Then add some small stuffed chicks or bunnies on sticks.
Set your table with a tablecloth, table runner, place mats and napkins done in spring prints and coordinating solids. Use prints sparingly to avoid giving your table a busy look and to keep attention focused on your centerpiece.
Placing a namecard at each seat is another table idea. Also making a small gift works to. A small sachet bag filled with Easter candies or other treats work great. Some wooden easter eggs with your guests names written on them are a welcoming site for your table.
How about making some homemade Easter cards for your family and friends. You can do this without any fancy equipment. Pick some cards up at the dollar store to decorate. On the front of the card, add some glitter to the photo. Maybe you can even add some jelly beans with craft glue. Adding some small artifical flowers to the card with craft glue adds a nice touch.
Don't forget the Vegan eaters in the family. Make their baskets with products from the health food store. Grab some milk free chocolates and some hard fruit candies. You can also find candies that are made with carob instead of chocolate. Include in the basket some nice ripe fruit, that is organic. Some baggied trail mix will also be a welcoming idea. Try some seeds also like sunflower. Try filling some plastic eggs with herbal tea bags, nuts, and dried fruit. And why not add some non food products as scented candles.
