Edible Easter Baskets

I wanted to share with you, how to make a edible Easter Basket, that you and the kids can do together.

Below is the ingredients you will need to create these great baskets:

waffle sundae bowls
red twizzler licorice or your own favorite brand
jelly beans of your choice
chocolate chips
coconut
cadbury eggs or other Easter chocolate eggs
various candies @ peeps, cookies etc.

Let's get started. Grab a small microwavable bowl and place your chocolate chips inside. Microwave the chips stirring every so often until the chips are melted nicely. Place your waffle bowl onto a paper plate. Then with the twizzler or other licorice form a U shape. Turn the U upside down to form a handle. With some melted chocolate, place some on the U ends and attach it to the waffle bowl holding until the chocolate drys, and the handle can stand on its own. If you like you can tint your coconut with food coloring. You want to sprinkle the coconut around the waffle bowl, how much is up to you. Then place your jelly beans on the coconut, you can also drizzle some of your chocolate on the coconut to. When everything has hardened, you can fill your baskets with your favorite Easter candies.
