Tom's of Maine Product Review

The products I received today came from Tom's of Maine. I received silly children's strawberry toothpaste, sensitive chamomile soap, and wicked fresh toothpaste for adults. Tom's of Maine have very early roots, and very high standards for product production. They use no animal testing for their products, which I love. And their ingredients are all natural and with little processing. Because they care so much what does go into their products, picking the right ingredient takes more time then usual.

The first product I tested was the wicked fresh toothpaste.

The tooth paste had a nice balance to it, nothing over bearing that you would not want to use it to brush. There was no after taste after brushing my teeth. It was really great on my husband's teeth, since he has sensitive teeth. I often use baking soda based toothpaste and this I find was the same quality of any name brand on the market.

The second product I received was for kids, a silly strawberry toothpaste. So this I had my nine year old try. Now she is a tough customer when it comes to tooth paste, she only uses one kind and one flavor and it's not strawberry. So I knew she would be the best tester for this. She loves fruit and strawberries are her favorite. Eager to try, she loved the toothpaste. She usually spits out toothpaste other than the one she uses, and this passed the Savannah test with flying colors.

This tooth paste is fluoride free, and great for children's teeth. It taste's just like it states, like strawberries. The toothpaste uses calcium and silica to clean. A great natural toothpaste.

Last product for review was the sensitive chamomile soap.

This 4oz bar is clinically proven to protect your skin. It is dermatologist tested and hypoallergenic. So in the bath, I gave this soap a try. Who doesn't want to treat their skin to a little extra love. It does not have any artificial or synthetic ingredients, unlike other soaps on the market. You get a great smooth feel from the, chamomile on your skin, leaving you feel clean and fresh. It left no soapy film after rinsing off. The moisturizing of the olive oil and vitamin E, left my skin feeling very soft. I really enjoyed the bath and the soap.

Tom's of Maine shares with you on their website all the ingredients that are used in their products. And like I said you won't find any animal products. Sustainable practices are a priority in every part of their business. The products contain no artificial colors or preservatives. It's also great how they maximize recycled content, making their packaging recyclable. And it's a honor to say that this is another product that is USA made. And that alone is a great benefit.
