Kim and Scotts Gourmet Pretzel Review

Due to the gracious generosity of Kim and Scott's Gourmet Pretzels, I received several of their products to review. And I was very eager to do so. But let me tell you a little about the company. Kim and Scott met at a book signing in Chicago. And from there they went on a passionate ride to open a soft pretzel business. They created a variety of very delicious array of pretzels, some stuffed with premium ingredients. They twist their pretzels by and and bake them from scratch.

Since we received six boxes, we decided to make one pretzel of each flavor. The first was the cheddar jalapeno. The pretzel had a mild kick to it, nothing over powering that you could not eat it. Stuffed with cheddar cheese, chili flakes, cumin and garlic, along with chopped jalapenos. And the pretzel was topped with even more cheese and jalapenos. Very tasty, and not soggy like some pretzels that have to be cooked. In fact they come in dry ice, and you place them in your freezer until ready to use. The heating instructions are on each box. And very easy to follow. Although these are snacks, this pretzel could be used as a great appetizer. Our choice for cooking them was the oven since we we're trying one of each flavor, and they did not come out dry at all.

The next pretzel we tyred was the apple Cinnamon. Awe this was so good. So soft and chewy, and great with some ice cream. This pretzel is made with apple pie filling, sugar and Cinnamon. And on the top is Cinnamon crumble. This one will take care of any ones sweet tooth.

Next came the pizza flavor, how can you go wrong with this flavor. The answer is you can't. This is a flavor that is not spicy and bold at all. It had mozzarella cheese and a homemade sauce inside. On the surface was cheese and Italian spices. It tasted like a inside out pizza. It tasted better than some frozen pizza I had tyred. This would be a great product to serve at any party, especially a child's party. Also it would do great as a appetizer.

On to the chocolate crumb, chocolate lovers you have to try this. Inside was a creamy fudge, and cocoa. And for the topping, it was chocolate crumb then drizzled with chocolate. This one could be deadly if your on a diet. The soft chocolate flavored dough, was just dreamy. For having so much chocolate flavors, it was not overwhelmingly sweet. Just the right balance. This would also be great with vanilla ice cream. Defiantly a dessert idea for any occasion.

Let's now talk about the spinach feta pretzel. Defiantly a great choice to serve as a appetizer. Stuffed full with spinach, feta and garlic. And as a added bonus, the pretzel has ALA omega-3 flax. A pretzel with healthy ingredients so you don't feel so guilty eating it. I loved the flavor of these pretzels, it was one of my favorites.

The last pretzel was cheddar cheese, and what it says is what it was stuffed with. A very mild flavor for being a cheese pretzel. A true favorite with the kids. Soft and chewy just like the others.

It is hard to say that any one pretzels was the best, they we're all fantastic. If you would like more information on these great tasting food items hop over to Kim and Scott's website. http://www.kimandscotts.com/
