Italian Torta Tre Monti Review

I would like to tell you about a product I received today from Savarozza Italian Specialty Foods. The company is a family owned business, who imports cakes from San Marino. And now these products are available in the US. The products are made by hand with a special pastry technique. They use hazelnuts, almonds and coffee to bring out a unique flavor and fragrance. All the products are natural and preservative free.

The Tre Monti is a round wafer that is filled with five fragrant layers. Chocolate, hazelnut cream, and a delicious rich dark chocolate just to name a few. The wafer was very good, and very rich in flavor. The chocolate had a very decadent taste, and did not over power the hazelnut cream. It packed a powerful punch of flavor for it's size. These snack wafer cookies went great with a hot cup of coffee. They would also make a great item to put into a gift basket.

I tyred on wafer, the husband tyred the second. He warmed his in the microwave to 10sec and then put it in a bowl and added some french vanilla ice cream on top. Although he would not share, he told me he was in dessert heaven.
