O & CO Product Review

Today I received the cutest gift samples of olive oil, from the Olivier's & Company. The company began out of a true fascination with Mare Nostrum, and its beautiful countryside. It's been ten years in creation, the making of the finest olive oil in the Mediterranean.

Basil Specialty Olive Oil was one of the samples I received. A beautiful fragrance when you open the little pouch. I was so excited to see how this wonderful aroma would taste on my food. Knowing this was the companies best seller, I knew the food would be nothing less than fantastic. Nothing goes better with basil, I think, than fish. So I made myself some baked monk fish with a sprinkle of the olive oil on top. The whole house smelled like a Italian restaurant. This oil is made with fresh basil, and picked at the peek of it's season. It is processed in the essence of real basil, and prepared according to 16th century Italian processing. It will also be great sprinkled on a tomato, or pasta, even a pizza. Very good.

Lemon Specialty Olive Oil was the second sample I received. I tyred this in a small dip bowl with some crusty bread, to get a full body taste of the oil, mixed with no other food flavors. This product is the companies best selling Lemon specialty oil. Made of fresh lemons, that are pressed along with the olives. This truly is a rare tasting oil. This oil would be a great condiment for salads, fish, and pasta also. And knowing it is a healthy alternative in baking, I will be sure to use it in some cookie recipes. For a extra dessert taste, sprinkle over some ice cream as the company suggest sounds wonderful.

These two oils are not the only great product produced by the company, there are many others. So if you would like to try them please visit their easy to use website at www.oliviersandco.com . There are products from oils to skincare. A great company, and thanks for letting me taste and review.
