Krave Jerky Review

Another product that came today for review, was from the Krave company. They produce healthy jerky snacks. These jerky products are not gummy, nor fatty. The company uses sliced meat, and natural seasonings. The jerky is made fresh and then vacuumed packed.

The first flavor of jerky was the basil citrus turkey. The flavors are tangy, full of citrus, with a hint of basil. The jerky was made with succulent young turkey breast. The texture of the jerky was softer than other store brands I have tyred. It was easy to chew, not tough at all. This jerky flavor was bursting for sure. The spices we're not over powering at all. Just right. This is a perfect pre post workout snack.

The next bag of jerky from Krave was the chili lime. As soon as you open the bag, the flavors just come out. A great Spanish flavor to me, chili and lime penetrating through the jerky in every bite. Made with slices of tender chuck, of domestic beef. The texture was also moist and soft. It has a medium heat nothing over whelming. And yes if you are Spanish or not this jerky goes great with Corona.

The jerky all come in a different color bag, this is a really neat feature.
All the bags are also re-seal able after opening. Next flavor that was tasted was the curry beef jerky. This flavor was a new adventure for Krave. This is the only curry jerky you may find. The taste was of South Asian flavors. It was very unique, and once again soft in texture. The beef slices are coated with exotic curry spices and just a hint of fish sauce. This would be great diced small and added into a dip.

Now if you like your jerky hot, this is the one for you, garlic chili pepper. It will leave your mouth on fire for sure. Not for children at all, so don't let them try it. It is very spicy, with a hint of garlic. Made with California beef, and dehydrated with real chili flakes. Lightly salted also with another taste in it of soy. A definite four alarm jerky.

Then you have the sweet honey chipotle flavor. This jerky is authentic in Mexican flavors. The taste of smokey chipotle and dried smoked chili peppers. Compared to the Garlic Chili Pepper, the heat is moderate. The slices are from the muscle of domestic beef, and then dried in a marinade. Its moist, and soft and also chewy.

One of my favorites was the pineapple orange flavor. A delicious Hawaiian tasting jerky. This one was really enjoyed by my nine year old also. The jerk is marinated in sweet orange and pineapple, and a tropical fruit flavored marinade. Another moist jerky and it just melts in your mouth.

Our of all the jerky this was the only one from pork. Each slice is marinated in teriyaki, and brown sugar with smoky soy before they dry it. What comes out of it, a perfect tasting snack jerky. Very well combined ingredients, with a hint of sweetness. And the best part it's not salty at all.

Garlic Chili Pepper is my favorite flavor of Krave. They also have a newer flavor, Black Cherry BBQ Pork which is very good. Thanks for the great post.
